Interior Design for New Construction, Remodeling & Renovations
Kittrell & Associates specializes in designs for new custom homes, remodeling or renovations working from blue print to completion producing turnkey results that match our Clients’ lifestyle needs and budgets.
The end result is always beautiful, comfortable and livable. And in our experience, when a project is finished our design fee will total only a small percentage of our Client’s overall budget.
High Standard of Professionalism - We pride ourselves in taking a business-like and professional approach to each project working efficiently to reduce the number of overwhelming choices Clients want to make, which saves their time and ultimately money.
Relationships with Contractors - Principal Chris Kittrell has strong relationships with builders and contractors who continue to refer Clients because of her ability to work as part of a team, keep projects running smoothly and meet construction deadlines.
Home Furnishing Resources - Over the years we have amassed a wide range of home furnishing resources that have provided us with the ability to match every taste and style ranging from traditional to transitional to contemporary or any style a Client may desire.
Fees and Terms
An initial one-hour consultation, to define Client needs and explain Designer terms, is complimentary in Orange County. Fees apply to other areas.
Designer works by Letter of Agreement (a contract) between Client and Designer, defining scope of Design Services, method of payment, terms and conditions.
Our fee is currently $175 per hour. A minimum retainer of $2,500 is applied to work done for the Client. Flat rates are also available. Travel time is billed at half the hourly rate. Design Assistant time is billed at $75 per hour. Some discounts on home furnishings may apply.
Purchases are made with approval of Client, in the form of Confirmation of Order. Designer discounts on home furnishings and commissions are explained during the Initial Consultation.
